Inspired by the glowing blue waves of the Sea of Stars located in the Maldives. Billions of tropical fish and micro-organisms live here, such as dinoflagellates, a type of phytoplankton. These organisms have the ability to generate light, which causes the shining pecks at sea to replicate the stars above. Stress, caused by the movement of the sea and waves, leads the plankton to emit light as a defense mechanism in a similar way to some fireflies.
